Hi! Unfortunatelly the events in Georgia turned for the worse and situation is worsening with every coming day. Do you plan an alternative route that would go from Turkey directly into Armenia as following the route to Georgia would be a real threat for the competitors?

Hi,
first of all, there are no border crossings between Turkey and Armenia. Those guys are pretty isolated over there, the only borders open are from Georgia and Iran.
We are constantly in contact with our helpers in Georgia so get the latest news daily. The situation is improving and there is a really good chance to do the trip with small changes on the route or probably no changes at all.
We obviously have B and C plans, but hope not to use them. Luckily we have more than a month to get there and a lot of things can (and will ) happen.
We will inform all the participants whenever we have important news.
